"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
This “Waiting on Wednesday” post is about:
Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices 3) by Cassandra Clare
Release Date: March 19, 2013
Danger intensifies for the Shadowhunters as the New York Times bestselling Infernal Devices trilogy comes to a close.
If the only way to save the world was to destroy what you loved most, would you do it?
The clock is ticking. Everyone must choose.
Passion. Power. Secrets. Enchantment.
Danger closes in around the Shadowhunters in the final installment of the bestselling Infernal Devices trilogy
I wasn’t going to post about this book today, but my obsessive need for it is so great I must talk about it constantly. My psychiatrist calls it a repetition compulsion or some psychobabble like that. But what can I do, I NEED to know what happens!!! Waiting for this book is torture. Every morning, I wake up, walk outside, throw myself on the ground, and roll around wailing (Note: this is a great way to get to know the neighbors!). I freaking LOVED the first two books, but Clockwork Prince left me in a dark place…heads were shaved, plates were smashed, and pillows were stabbed…dark, dark time for me…I don’t want to talk about it…
Clockwork Princess will either be my salvation or my destruction. Anyone who has made it to the end of Clockwork Prince knows the predicament I currently find myself in. So much depends on this book! Oh for the love of Will, I cant take this, I must tantrum!
Note: You may read about a Cassandra Clare’s book signing I attended HERE. There are videos. I’d watch the last one if I were you! Unfortunately, at said book signing, dearest Cassie only made matters worse when she mentioned some sort of steamy dungeon scene in Clockwork Princess.
What book(s) are you throwing tantrums for?
Please link your WoW, I want to see what you are waiting for!

Ah you have The Mortal Instruments series! I love those books! Anything by Cassandra Clare is beyond awesome! I hope you enjoy them when you read them. The Infernal Devises trilogy is a prequel to TMI and it is best to read the books after you have read the first three in TMI series. I am excited for the movie.
DeleteThanks for stopping by and for following! I will go check out you WoW and I will follow you back!
THIS BOOK WILL BE THE DEATH OF ME I'M SURE OF IT. (Is it okay to use caps lock in comments? Ah well, too late.) The Infernal Devices is one of my favourite book series to be honest. I am simultaneously excited and frightened to get my hands n this book knowing that whatever's inside most likely will kill me. Ugh, too many feelings.

DeleteClockwork Prince ended perfectly!!! I am so happy for Tessa and Jem!!! Will will hopefully find someone else. Too late for him! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteLol well I am glad you are happy with it!I am a huge fan of Will, and a firm believer that it is never too late, but if Cassandra Clare will not put Tessa and Will together in the end, I will be more than happy to volunteer myself to be turned into a character in the story and make sure he is never lonely! I think I will go and email this suggestion to Cassandra Clare! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI'm definitely loving the cover of this one. Finally Tessa is on the cover! Ahhh I can't wait for this one either. Thank you for dropping by!

DeleteMy jaw drops and eyes bulge out of their sockets whenever I see that cover. It so gorgeous that I just... can't bear to look at it anymore. I've never seen a cover more striking and fabulous, ever.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, I've never been much of Cassandra Clare fan, but I hope this book blows your mind, K. Bo Baron. It sounds (and looks!) phenomenal.
I'm going to start smashing things if I don't own a copy of The Diviners, Burn For Burn, and Days of Blood and Starlight, ALL THREE, NOW. *wails*
I can offer you no real comfort at this moment because my time machine is not yet ready, but as soon as it is,I promise I will share it with you. Thank you for stoping by! Now feel free to continue wailing, but waiting isn't so bad...try to cheer up. *looks at the Clockwork Princess countdown widget, pales, falls to her knees, and also wails*
